MIC injections are a blend of three essential compounds – Methionine, Inositol, and Choline (MIC). Each of these nutrients plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, making this combination a powerful tool for supporting health. Vitamin B12 and Chromium are added to MIC injections further enhancing the benefits.

  1. Methionine: An essential amino acid that aids in the breakdown of fats and assists in the prevention of excess fat accumulation in the liver. Methionine is also involved in the synthesis of proteins and plays a vital role in supporting overall cellular health.
  2. Inositol: A type of carbohydrate that is fundamental for brain health, as it assists in the transmission of signals between nerve cells. Inositol also aids in fat metabolism and can help regulate insulin sensitivity.
  3. Choline: Classified as a water-soluble essential nutrient, Choline is involved in several vital processes, including liver function, cell structure, and nerve transmission. It also supports the transportation and metabolism of fats in the body.
  4. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin): Vitamin B12 is a vital water-soluble nutrient that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions. It is essential for maintaining a healthy nervous system, supporting red blood cell production, and aiding in DNA synthesis. B12 also helps convert food into energy, making it an excellent addition to MIC injections.
  5. Chromium: Chromium is a trace mineral that is important for its role in regulating blood sugar levels. It helps insulin, a hormone that controls blood sugar, function more effectively, contributing to improved glucose metabolism and potential benefits for weight management.

The Potential Benefits of MIC, B12, and Chromium:

  1. Weight Management: The combination of MIC, B12, and Chromium creates a powerful support system for weight management. By promoting fat metabolism, regulating blood sugar levels, and increasing energy, these injections can assist in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.
  2. Increased Energy Levels: By aiding in the breakdown of fats, MIC injections can release additional energy stores, leading to increased energy levels. Vitamin B12’s involvement in converting food into energy, combined with the vitality offered by MIC injections, can leave you feeling energized and revitalized.
  3. Liver Health: The components of MIC, along with Chromium’s role in regulating blood sugar levels, can promote liver health by preventing the buildup of excess fat in this vital organ.

How Long Does it Take to See Results?

It often takes up to 3 to 4 weeks to start noticing the benefits of MIC injections. However, results may vary for each individual. Usually 1 injection is required every 1-2 weeks.

How are MIC injections Administered?

MIC injections containing Vitamin B12 and Chromium are administered as intramuscular shots into your upper arm (deltoid muscle) or buttocks (glute muscle).

*Please note that these injections are not a complete substitute for proper diet and exercise. For

maximum effects, they must be used in conjunction with proper observation of diet & exercise.

An IV/Injection Screening Consultation or Naturopathic Initial Consultation with Dr. Korsa is required prior to booking a MIC injection. A MIC injection can be added on to the appointment ($35 charge). After your initial injection, all follow-up injections are charged at $55 per injection.
